Bristol Half Marathon (and Mum is 64!)

Yesterday I dragged the family to watch me running Bristol Half marathon.

A good day, though they didn’t spot me en route (and Charlie was worried I had collapsed and was being carted off by a passing ambulance!

A good time too (for me), 1:40:16, a little off my ‘PB’ of 1:39:54, but not bad, considering most of my training was on holiday in the Loira – more wine and cheese than track and field….

We then went to Ashton Court estate to celebrate Mum’s birthday where Mum showed her sporting talent for ball sports – and looks like Charlie is inheriting the trait – shame it missed me!
