The story of the billy goats Gruff
Once upon a time there lived three billy goats Gruff.
They lived on a field with not much grass.
There was a bridge and a stream.
And on the other side there was sweet green grass.
There was also an angry troll who lived under the bridge. He wanted to eat the billy goats.
One day the smallest billy goat went across the bridge. The troll wanted to eat him.
But the smallest billy goat gruff said "don’t eat me my bigger brother is coming. He is much sweeter and fatter than me. Eat him instead".
The troll licked his lips. He said "all right". And the smallest billy goat Gruff crossed the bridge.
The smallest billy goat’s brother tried to cross the bridge as well. But the troll heard his feet clippity clop across the bridge.
But the big bad troll wanted to eat the middle sized billy goat Gruff. The middle sized billy goat Gruff said "don’t eat me, eat my brother. He’s much bigger than me".
"all right" said the troll. And the middel sized billy goat Gruff crossed the bridge safely.
Last but not least the largest billy goat Gruff tried to cross the bridge.
But the angry troll heard him. So he said "stop right there I’m going to eat you".
"Eat me? Oh no I’ll eat you".
The troll was scared. The billy goat gruff put his horns down and charged at the angry troll. And flicked him into the river and the troll was never seen again.
And the billy goats gruff lived happily ever after.
